According to The Mayo Clinic.com, "The thin wall inside your nose that separates your right and left nasal cavities is called your nasal septum. Ideally, your septum is situated in the center of your nose, equally separating the two sides of your nose. In about 80 percent of people, however, the nasal septum is displaced to one side, making one nasal passage smaller than the other. When your septum is significantly off-center, you have a deviated septum.
When a deviated septum is severe, it can block one side of your nose and reduce airflow. Resulting signs and symptoms can include difficulty breathing, nasal congestion, nosebleeds and frequent sinus infections.
Deviated septum may be present at birth or, more commonly, the result of an injury. Initial treatment of a deviated septum may include medications to manage signs and symptoms. But to correct a deviated septum, surgery is necessary."

Just saw you following me tweet! Thought I would check your stuff out...my oh my! If only you could live next door, people would not think I am so crazy!!!!! Your blogs are amazing! They look so great! Do you do that yourself...your layouts and what not? And I love...LOVE the "I can't believe I am having this done by a well know plastic surgeon and I won't have a flatter stomach or bigger boobs!" NO JOKE! What were you thinking???? Just kidding...you are wonderfully and perfectly made right??? If it were only so easy!
Wow...better you than me! Just kidding, prayers to you! But it is kinda sad you can't get something better out of the surgeon's time ;)!
Praying for you girl! I know this will be painful, but hang in there!

Update: I showed up for surgery Monday and they prepped me for surgery. But turns out they ended up they had to cancel it cause blood tests came back and it was too dangerous for surgery. It has been postponed till Friday so my blood will have time to level out.
I wanted to personally tell you that I am taking a blogging break, but fell free to comment, because I will be checking...Good luck with the nose thing...I believe my neighbor had the same thing done and is feeling much better since the surgery.
Anyway, have a Merry Christmas and see you in 2009!
